Tastefully and sympathetically renovated and decorated. Delicious breakfast with wonderful French bread and croissants. Very warm, charming and welcoming hosts. We could not fault our stay.

We were made to feel very welcome by owners Monique and Henri. Even though we didn't speak much French and they didn't speak much English, we managed. The bedroom and lounge which were available for our use were very comfortable, as were the beds. We were welcomed to their table in the morning and shared a wonderful breakfast. We couldn't have wished for any more and would love to stay again. We left feeling almost like part of the family! Perfect hosts!

We spent a wonderful evening at l'hippocampe. Corrine and Didier were wonderful hosts and they have a beautiful and tranquil home. We arrived wet after hiking in the rain. They brought our hiking clothes to the basement to dry and offered us fresh coffee and cake! Dinner was delicious and we had an enjoyable chat afterwards.

The breakfast was amazing, and the owner is a wonderful lady that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. This place definitely checked all boxes.
