It is only 15 minutes outside Sparta, but it’s worth the distance

Beautifully restored Pension Dafni is located in Nafplio’s Old Town, underneath Palamidi Fortress, 200 metres from Arvanitia Beach. It has a snack bar and offers tastefully decorated rooms with bright-coloured walls. Location great, staff was friendly, rooms were comfortable... superb!

Good parking. Most especially the friendly and courteous staff. Vicki and Alexis. They made us the best coffee we have had in Greece with our great breakfast.

Great apartment with most things you need for short stay, close to most things and there is a supermarket down the road and parking area is very close.

Featuring a garden and views of city, Petrounis Hotel is a guest house situated in a historic building in Areopolis, 11 km from Caves of Diros. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views. The guest house features family rooms. The hosts were wonderful. They served us a beautiful breakfast every morning. There is a famous bakery just opposite the hotel where you can buy the best bread in Greece:) The hotel is charming, with a beautiful yard. Centrally located. Petrounis recommended us a nice taverna at the other end of the main street where we spent every evening. There is a public car park very near the hotel which was very convenient, too. A very good place to visit Mani, explore the coast and swim with the turtles;)

This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can make use of the picnic area or the terrace, or enjoy views of the sea and garden. This is my second visit to this well-maintained, beautiful seaside property. The owner and staff are welcoming, helpful, and make you feel like your home :)

Kallisti Luxury rooms in Nafplio features accommodation with free WiFi, 600 metres from Arvanitia Beach, 400 metres from Akronafplia Castle and 200 metres from Archaeological Museum of Nafplion. The property is around 1.5 km from Bourtzi, less than 1 km from Palamidi and 12 km from Train station of Argos. The property offers soundproof units and is situated 200 metres from Nafplio Syntagma Square. A delightful small pension right in the heart of Nafplio, but in a quiet street away from noisy bars, but still only a stone's throw away from a couple of lovely tavernas. The pension faces a small church, famous for being the place that Kapodistrias, Greece's first head of state, was assassinated in 1831. The room I stayed in was on the top floor in the eves, and cleverly converted to make a surprisingly spacious room with a lovely small balcony with a great view over Nafplio. It is equipped with a very comfortable bed, a shower which works properly, and a small fridge (I didn't test the air conditioning as it was October and it was not needed) The owner was extremely nice and helpful, carrying my bags up to my room (be warned that the stairs are narrow and quite steep with no lift), providing useful information about the town. Nafplio itself is a delightful town with many good shops, restaurants, cafes and bars, and a very good opportunity to get some exercise by climbing the supposedly 999 steps up to the top of the Palamides Fort (it seems to be actually over 1000).

Located in Pylos, Pyli Apartments offers accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. This was a great apartment in a perfect town. Close proximity to the center of things while still being quiet at night. The owner was friendly and helpful, and we also appreciated the amenities provided - bottled water, laundry facilities, cooking supplies, a nice terrace. A great stay!
