Great location. Quiet inside - despite being opposite a really cool and busy cafe. Sound proof structure is excellent. Third person had a sofa bed that was the best sofa bed ever - as good as a real bed. The coffee pods supplied had great coffee The shower and toilet areas are large and modern. Easy to walk to the location from the boats. Less than 5 minute walk.

Even in the beginning of August, the heart of tourist season, Elisa and Costas made us feel as if we were the only visitors staying in their exceptionally lovely house, when, in fact, they were operating at full occupancy. It must be said that our room, as well as the entirety of Villa Maria, was elegantly-decorated, impeccably cared for, tasteful, and, quite simply, beautiful. When Costas met us at Miaouli Square and proceeded to retrieve my wife’s carry-on suitcase as well as another roller bag from another couple also booked into the guest house, carry them up the MANY stairs (perhaps the only caveat to consider depending on one’s fitness level) to the house, while he negotiated simultaneous conversations in Greek and English to accommodate both couples, we knew we were in for a pleasant stay. Later, his recommendations for beaches, restaurants, tavernas, and delicious gelato, and more—all clearly plotted into a map for our use—were fine-tuned after a bit of conversation to suit us. And even though we usually like to discover destinations on our own when we travel, we soon found ALL of his recommendations hit the mark! Elisa, too, encouraged us to imagine that we were living in our own private island home away from home. A mix up in scheduling for her Greek cooking class—a guest’s mistake, not hers—meant that our late-notice sign-up for the afternoon would have to be cancelled.

Situated within less than 1 km of Asteria Beach and a 8-minute walk of Saint Nicholas Church, Oisyra Hotel features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ermoupoli. The guest house has family rooms. The location was close to the port, so I had minimal stairs to climb to get to this hotel. The hotel is very close to everything that Ermoupoli has to offer. Shirt walk to shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The host was so friendly and helpful. I will be back.

Achilleion is set in an 1880’s neoclassic building. With a central location opposite the Syros Industrial Museum, the traditional guesthouse offers uniquely styled rooms with town and port views.

The fully renovated rooms retain the building’s character. Traditional details include iron beds, rich beddings and stone-build walls. Modern installations such as air conditioning, TV and fridge are standard. Very pleasant and helpful owners and staff.

The rooftop terrace offers views to the Aegean Sea and scenic Syros landscape. Hospitality has found its true meaning! Popi and Filio were lovely hostesses and they were available at any moment we needed them! Strongly recommend to everyone!

A welcome package with organic wine, limoncello liqueur and fresh juice is offered to guests. The hosts are professional, attentive and friendly. The breakfast was very good.

Pefkakia Park offers year-round accommodation in Ermoupolis. Right next to a park, it is centrally located only 350 meters from Miaoulis Square and the harbour, yet far from the noise and traffic.

The modern and comfortable rooms offer a warm atmosphere, each one with unique colours. Each is equipped with free Wi-Fi, TV, refrigerator, hair dryer and air conditioning. Most rooms allocate balconies. We were given the top floor apartment with own balcony and outdoor space and panoramic views of the hills of Ermopoli as well as the harbour. Exceptional space and such a wonderful first introduction to the island!
