From all 12 nights/locations we booked in Iceland this was the only one where we could talk to the owner. House is modern, clean and breakfast was nice. 10mins away from Keflavik Airport. It was our last stay in Iceland and we wanted it near the airport. This was like small apartment and very nice and stylish apartment. So clean and this suprise in fridge were so heartwarming. The host (Ragnar) is very friendly and welcoming, and shows amazing enthusiasm for the art created by his uncle. He entertained us with stories of how the art was created and his uncle's life which made us appreciate the effort he has put into creating this space. The concept is very unique and non typical of a "normal" guesthouse stay but that is what makes Brimarsbru stand out. The property is very clean and the room very spacious. Bathroom facilities are in the main house but this wasn't an issue. There is a microwave, kettle and fridge in your room which is helpful for making a quick breakfast in the morning. The location is excellent for the airport, taking us less than 10 minutes to reach there for our morning flight. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again when we return to Iceland.
