Yanagawa Guest House Horiwari is situated in Yanagawa. The accommodation is a 58-minute train ride and 10-minute taxi ride from Nishitetsu Fukuoka Tenjin Station. JR Saga Station and Saga Airport are a 30-minute drive away. Nice location in the town, nearby a lot of choices for a walk with nice view. It’s a pity I didn’t pick up Japanese to communicate well, but the host still recommended some nice restaurants and places. The room is very traditional tatami, very clean and warm in winter.

Opened in March 2013, Fukuoka Hana Hostel is ideally located a 2-minute walk from the popular Nakasu area and the Canal City shopping mall. It provides free in-room Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen and internet PCs. Staffs are very friendly. I forgot my stuffs and they are happy to send it to a next hotel for me. It is right in the middle of a shopping arcade, lots of restaurants to choose from and good value of money. There is a shrine which is just a few steps away.
