I was very happy there: came for one night but decided to prolong my stay for next 3 nights. Owners do the best to make guests feel comfortable.

He's a great guy and the more you talk to him the more he opens up with suggestions and things to see/places to go. Even gave us some tips on Vietnam and a contact to help organise a Vietnam visa, and when we hired motorcycles he made the guy give me his proper helmet rather than the low-safety baseball helmets they try and give you. Highly highly recommend staying here

Simply furnished, the rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a personal safe and a fan. There is also a refrigerator. The private bathrooms include a hot shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. The location was excellent in the old town precinct and right in the morning and night markets. The staff were so lovely and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Villa Phathana is a short drive from Phousi Hill and various temples and restaurants. Luang Prabang International Airport is a 20-minute drive away. I stayed 8 days total. The location is perfect for seeing many places. Mr. Ben and family were very gracious and helpful hosts. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and yummy drinks. Highly recommend staying here.

Quiet street near park and temple. Old colonial building. Staff was very kind and eager to help with anything you need. Beds were comfortable. Staff was great, kindly helped with bus tickets and kept a duffle bag for us for 5 days. Breakfast was good.
