Had a wonderful stay at this resort, the room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and helped us organise stuff that we needed organising and were kind enough to let us check out late as we had an evening flight. A perfect location to explore the Lion rock-10 mins away and very easy to walk to local restaurants. We also had a big breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Good to know: at night you can't walk around in the nature, as there are wild elephants. So if you go to the restaurants you need to take a tuk tuk back.

We spotted black-faced monkeys, a mongoose, and those big squirrels. The family is so welcoming, they offer to cook dinner (it was delicious every single time) and the included breakfast is delicious too (fruit, coffee tea toasts, and two Sri Lanka specialties that change every morning). They helped us plan our trip and are truly wonderful people. We extended our stay and loved it. Will come back :)

You have a direct view from your terrace to the Lion's Rock and the view is overlooking the rice fields. The host family is incredibly kind and they organize everything you need for your stay, for example Tuk Tuk rides, a safari with their own jeep for a reasonable price or a trip to Dambulla! You can ask them anytime on WhatsApp if you need anything and they bring or organize it immediately! They served typical Sri Lankan breakfast and also have a dinner menu. The location is perfect as you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle but in fact it's only a 15 min walk to the center. The room is basic but extremely clean - overall it's really good value for money here and I would definitely recommend to stay here if you are in Sigiriya!
