The 1770 stabbur was very roomy and well-equipped with bathroom, kitchen, TV. I loved the history of the place—like a museum. Short drive to Bo or Lunde, Telemark. Torstein and Goril were charming hosts. I plan to return and recommend to my family.

At the homestay, units include bed linen and towels. This is the most wonderful place. Beautiful locations, friendly staff and wonderful tents. Beautiful small details everywhere, fun for kids. Short distance to shops and public transport. Nice professional host who deserves all credit, he really tries to help the guests! Fantastic massage chair that even has a heating function and a view of the pool area. Lovely plants and palm trees that create a pleasant atmosphere. Sauna that guests can use whenever it suits them, and bathe in the snow afterwards! The host also offers to fire it up if he is home. Otherwise, he was available in his part of the hotel, if needed. Very nice living room with large aquarium and TV with background lighting. Pleasant international guests. The very pleasant host also makes sure that it is clean and tidy and that the guests have a good time. Lovely organic eggs from the hens in the garden. Very good coffee and tea. Lovely fluffy cat, Pepsik, who was very cuddly and who was mostly outside all day, but came by to say hello and get some cuddles. Delicious aroma from various herbs and essential oils. This is a place where you find peace of mind. Would love to come again with the family!

Located within 27 km of Bø Summerland and 36 km of Telemark Kanal in Nes, Vrangfoss Sluse provides accommodation with seating area. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Featuring a private entrance, the guest house allows guests to maintain their privacy. Quiet, historical location allows you to watch the operation of the locks. Having a restaurant on site was a big plus. We had a lovely dinner on the porch, and the breakfast the next morning was just fine. This was good for a one-night stay, but probably wouldn't want to stay longer than that. Location was great to get to Ulefoss or Lunde to go for a canal boat cruise.
