There is a beautiful garden, well taken care off. The rooms are nice, very good size and clean. Mr. Danilo who runs the place is very nice and he cares about it. The breakfast was nice with eggs, bread, cheese, cereals and fruits, every morning Carmen or Mr. Danilo was ready to prepare the breakfast and eggs. We had a wonderful week and we absolutely love this place.

Very clean and spacious room and house, with amazing views. Comfortable bed, good shower pressure and temperature. A generous kitchen that would be excellent for long stays.

It is located 26 km from Santana's traditional houses and features a shared kitchen. The homestay offers sea views and a sun terrace. My experience with Antonio and Jorge was truly incredible. Their hospitality and warmth were constant throughout my stay. The location boasts a breathtaking ocean view, offering peaceful mornings away from tourist crowds in the capital. Hopefully, public transportation from the airport to Funchal improves soon. I'll certainly return next year and bring along as many friends as I can. Thanks once again, guys!

The nearest airport is Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport, 19 km from Edificio Charles 202. We could leave our luggage in the morning before check in and in the afternoon after check out without any problem, the guy who attended us was very nice and friendly. The building is very well located in the centre of Funchal and the price was perfect for this accommodation and the time of the year.

We had the larger of the two with the hot tub. The apartment was very well-equipped and nicely designed. We had everything we needed including a lovely view. The bathroom was great. We spent much time on the large elevated terrace. We were able to cook meals for four. We felt very much at-home. The wonderful hosts met us in town to lead the way and showed us how to park. They also provided special treats and allowed us to enjoy their garden and fresh eggs. The location worked very well for us to explore the whole island. Groceries, gas, and restaurants were nearby.

Set in Câmara de Lobos, 700 metres from Vigário Beach, Casa da Cal - by Casas na Ilha offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The property has sea and pool views, and is 1.3 km from Formosa Beach. The guest house features family rooms. Honestly at first, I was a bit taken aback that there is no staff on site and that it was more of a house/Airbnb type than a hotel. However, it turned out to be AMAZING. I made this purchase DAY OF because of a very stressful last minute change to my trip, and this place was just what I needed to unwind and relax. Everything was super clean, and safe, and the facilities were just wonderful. I also talked with the cleaning lady the next day and she was super sweet. There were mango trees dropping fruit on the property, and all in all it was just magical. Free protected parking and everything. I felt completely safe there. There’s also a grocery store like a 5 min walk away if you want to go pick things up to cook (as well as many eateries).
