Despite its central location, the hotel is extremely quiet. It opened less than one year ago and furnitures are in pristine condition and modern. Stella, the owner & manager is not only friendly but super helpful and effective in helping planning visits for the days ( including Anlong Bay, airport pickups, Ha Giang, Sapa etc.). Further Stella has a very good command of English. Breakfast , though simple, is excellent. The Hotel is extremely good value for Hanoi and -as I did not expect to have any views from my room ( for this price and given the central location and the fact that it is very quiet)- I was certainly not disappointed. On contrary it expected my expectations and I would not hesitate to return to this hotel or to recommend it to other travelers.

The building felt secure and safe. Great location - i’d stayed in the old quarter before and it was too loud and busy so this area was fab in comparison.

I booked a Mika homestay as I wanted to stay away from the old quarter and see the real alley of Vietnam. I hadn't expected the homestay to be that beautiful honestly but it just exceeded my expectations. It was super cozy and beautiful. The bed was so comfortable and soft and I couldn't leave by just staying one night so I extended my stay. The host, Ms. Mika, will definitely be in my Hanoi's best memory. She is so very hospitable and friendly. She added beauty in my stay. Instructions are clearly written and mentioned in the room so you wouldn't need to worry even if she is not around. Things to do/places to visit are clearly mentioned in their insta page. Lots of eateries nearby. Will definitely check in on my next visit.

The lady at the reception, Lily, did an exceptional job going above and beyond to help us with planning our travel. She was always very honest and could draw from her long-year experience as a tour guide herself. She was also very caring of my husband, who got sick on the flight and she tried her best ro help us. The location is great - in an ally in the center but still quiet enough for s good night's sleep.
