Our stay at Muong Hoa Hmong Homestay was one of the highlights of our trip. The hospitality of the couple who managed the place was exceptional. You will not meet nicer people. It was cold and foggy when we stayed but our stay was still fantastic. We went on a trek organised through the homestay which was so much fun and the manager came along. The food in the homestay is very cheap and so good - I recommend the Pho. This place felt like a home away from home.

We had family style dinner with her and other guests and it was the best food we have had in Vietnam! Co taught us traditional H’Mong drinking games with homemade happy water. Organised a trekking tour with her and the guide we had was great! Nice breakfast of pancakes, tea/coffee and fruit. Beds are really comfy and bathrooms were clean. Very cute dog living there too. Beautiful location on top of a hill overlooking the rice fields.

The location is great with a wonderful view across the valley. The bedroom was lovely, beautifully decorated and the blankets kept us warm even though it was freezing at night. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Pavi has recently opened a restaurant, Pavi Garden, about 3km from the property and we stopped there after our village tour. It also serves great food with the added bonus of friendly cats who will sit on your lap. We enjoyed our stay with Pavi very much and highly recommend Pavi Home.

At La Beauté Bắc Hà, the traditional restaurant is open for dinner, brunch and high tea and serves Vietnamese cuisine. I was going to stay one night and ended up for three. So hard to leave this place after feeling so welcoming. The house is in the middle of the rice fields and mountains. Peaceful and beautiful. Dua and all the girls made me feel at home. They are so kind and friendly. Beds are very comfortable and the food is amazing. They can also help a lot with transport, tours and any recommendation. I loved the dogs, the cat and the birds. Don’t miss this gem in Bac Ha!
