The location is good - a quiet neighbourhood close to the waterfront and there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The hostess is extremely nice and welcoming. I was very happy to spend a couple of nights at this homestay :)

Easy access to swim in the river, and a beautiful outlook from the breakfast balconies.

The hostel was very clean and the pool was an added bonus. We had a private room with our own bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool. It was perfect for our stay. Town was an easy walk away. It took us about 20 minutes. The owner picked us up at the bus stop when we arrived. We find that the son who spoke very good English was very helpful. He booked our tours, a bus from Hue to Phong Nha and a driver from Phong Nha to Hanoi when our flight was cancelled. The restaurant was fabulous and be sure to take part in the family dinner. It was inexpensive, delicious food booked by mom and sister and lots of fun. I would recommend staying here as it’s great value and the family/owners who all work together to run the place try very hard to please.

Tours they helped book were excellent, and their rental motorbikes were in good repair. The pool was pleasant, the restaurant simple but quick with an omelette or cold beer.

The owners were really nice and arranged everything for us (including the taxi and the tour). We had to pay only once, at checkout for everything, which made it simple. When we got from the tour, we found a group celebrating the birthday of the sun of the owner, and we were invited as well (along other guests), which was super nice.

The place is enchanting, lush but very well-kept at the same time. I stayed in the dorm and the beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. But the best thing about this place is the owner, Mr. Quy, who is very kind, careful and welcoming and makes you feel like at home. Communication was great even before arriving, as he organized my pickup and my tours to the caves. Plus, if you arrive before check-in time or have to wait a long time after checkout, there’s the possibility to stay in another room, or relax on the hammocks, and to use a bathroom. Simply amazing!
