Located just 2 minutes' walk from the Adelaide Central Bus Station, Tequila Sunrise Hostel Adelaide is 5 minutes’ walk from Chinatown and the Central Markets. The air-conditioned rooms include bed linen and secure lockers.

Whenever I come back to Adelaide, Tequila Sunrise is the place where I’ll stay. The beds in the hostel have curtains which give you a lot more privacy plus in the capsule you have your own light and plugs. In addition there is breakfast and dinner everyday which I loved (especially the nacho salad they make every Friday). The location is amazing, everything is close by and it’s easy to visit beaches (which are more far) because the public transport stops are close by. What makes the hostel even better is the manager there, he’s always happy to help and does everything he can in order for anyone to have an amazing stay. The staff speaks english well and there is always someone who’ll help you if needed. I made a lot of friends in the hostel so I would say it’s a very social hostel as long as you are social.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Nice staff (very helpful organising your time and tourist activities to make the best of your time there, according to your needs, a and budget). Great atmosphere. Clean and comfy facilities and big, easy-to-lock lockers in the room. Well organised in general. I think, so far, the best hostel I have been to in Australia. Not the cheapest in Adelaide, but there is a good reason for that, Totally worth it.

Very small hostel, mostly long termers all super friendly and sociable. Good location in town centre, cheapest accommodation in Adelaide so although still relatively expensive I suppose you get what you pay for.

I liked the common area, there is many sofas and tables. Kitchen looked good as well. The manager is lovely and caring and so were the guests. Very respectful and quiet, it is a small hostel and felt like a safe environment. It is probably the cheapest hostel i found on my 1.5 year australia trip

great location next to semaphore beach and a short 10-15 min drive from the city. Derrick was VERY helpful on front desk, ensured we kept our double room for as long as we needed it due to car troubles & the hostel seems like it’s been renovated including rooms, kitchen, toilets/showers & security is amazing! never felt unsafe and everyone was very friendly! definitely recommend staying here (also free parking over the road for 24 hours which is great!) will stay again for sure if in Adelaide

Cheap hotel did not have high expectations-it was very clean. Windows don't open, no outlook, but bed was comfortable. It is like staying at a Youth hostel or YMCA.
