The award-winning YHA Adelaide Central offers modern air-conditioned accommodation in the heart of Adelaide city centre, overlooking picturesque Light Square. Guests have a choice of dormitory and private rooms. Free WiFi is available all throughout the hostel.

I've stayed in a lot of hostels on my travels, including other YHAs, and this one was probably the best. So clean, a great big kitchen, and friendly staff. Also a small thing to mention, but I love that there are paper towels in the kitchen for drying things because communal tea towels get very gross, very quickly. I love their encouragement of recycling, it seems like they have put effort into recycling as much waste as possible, and they also separate food waste. Again, very impressive considering most other hostels in Australia just have one bin for everything.

Located just 2 minutes' walk from the Adelaide Central Bus Station, Tequila Sunrise Hostel Adelaide is 5 minutes’ walk from Chinatown and the Central Markets. The air-conditioned rooms include bed linen and secure lockers.

The whole place was renovated and the rooms were very comfortable and even though you were staying with others you had your own privacy! The place was clean, the toilets and showers were new and always clean. The facilities were just perfect. We couldn't imagine a better place to stay in. It's in the centre of Adelaide and everything is near by. We would really like to thank DIEGO!!He was the kindest of the staff, he also was really helpful and wanted everything to be perfect for us in order to enjoy our stay. Thank you very much Diego ☺️

Nice staff (very helpful organising your time and tourist activities to make the best of your time there, according to your needs, a and budget). Great atmosphere. Clean and comfy facilities and big, easy-to-lock lockers in the room. Well organised in general. I think, so far, the best hostel I have been to in Australia. Not the cheapest in Adelaide, but there is a good reason for that, Totally worth it.

Very small hostel, mostly long termers all super friendly and sociable. Good location in town centre, cheapest accommodation in Adelaide so although still relatively expensive I suppose you get what you pay for.

I liked the common area, there is many sofas and tables. Kitchen looked good as well. The manager is lovely and caring and so were the guests. Very respectful and quiet, it is a small hostel and felt like a safe environment. It is probably the cheapest hostel i found on my 1.5 year australia trip

great location next to semaphore beach and a short 10-15 min drive from the city. Derrick was VERY helpful on front desk, ensured we kept our double room for as long as we needed it due to car troubles & the hostel seems like it’s been renovated including rooms, kitchen, toilets/showers & security is amazing! never felt unsafe and everyone was very friendly! definitely recommend staying here (also free parking over the road for 24 hours which is great!) will stay again for sure if in Adelaide

Cheap hotel did not have high expectations-it was very clean. Windows don't open, no outlook, but bed was comfortable. It is like staying at a Youth hostel or YMCA.
