the staff are so kind, care about customers well and security is strict here. When I forgot to receive my room key and went back at 10pm ( reception is closed at 10pm), they put my room key in a password box in front of the entrance so fortunately I could get in my room and slept well😭❤️ I couldn’t thank them enough!!

You can choose to stay in a lively dormitory room in the comfort of a private room. Linen is provided in all rooms. Toilet and bathroom facilities are shared.

The hostel was and is my home in Australia. It's not perfect but the people and those who work there make you feel very comfortable. Very nice friendships are generated and I highly recommend it. It is not a party hostel, there are many people who stay for a long time and it is very relaxed, but at the same time it has a beautiful patio where environments for sharing are created. Church is always attentive and is the soul of the shelter.

Well it was cheap but you get what you paid for. So for this price do not expect too much. Wifi was ok, aircon was not remote for it so it did not work. small room, no wardrobe, noisy bed but it was cheap. shared bathroom. If you are on a budget it might be ok for you.

Best hostel I’ve been to, very modern, clean, good breakfast, kitchen, great clean showers, pool is small but the outdoor area is nice, with a gym, ps4 games, and chill zone. Hostel feels like a hotel, great vibes people seem happy here. Staff are lovely, competent & helpful. Great area next to shops and short walk to the centre.

Great location within the city. Coles is less than a 5 minute walk away and only a 15 minute walk to the city centre. Property is always cleaned as there is cleaners around daily. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The hostel host an activity every night as ranging from free food to free entertainment which is great to see as a backpacker. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, I initially booked for 2 weeks and extended my stay by another month. Great experience overall

great location in fortitude valley. very smart for a hostel. the hostel has its own bar / club with cheap drinks. a free drink was on offer at 8pm which was a good opportunity to meet other travellers. very friendly staff from the front desk to bar to security. despite all this we had no trouble sleeping, no noise issues, etc. although that could be due to the placement of the room we had. my friend and I had a twin ensuite room which was comfortable and clean.

Wow what a hostel! I’ve experienced many hostels in my time but nothing compares to BQ. The design was more like a boutique hotel. The bathrooms were super modern and the bunk beds were spacious, comfortable and private. The free breakfast was a bonus and the staff were super friendly. 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in Brisbane on a budget. Thank you for a fantastic stay BQ!
