You can enjoy relaxing and enjoying local Byron Bay brews and freshly made pizzas. Also available are the use of free surfboards for guests, to enjoy the nearby surf at Main Beach.

Really nice facilities and the rooftop bar was great, also the activities organized by the staff were fun. The location is amazing since it's only a few minutes from the main beach and still in the middle of town.

Wake Up! Byron Bay has a wide range of accommodation options, including double and twin en suite rooms, en suite dormitory rooms with options of eight, six or four beds and female-only rooms. The property has renovated bathrooms and communal areas with fully air-conditioned rooms. Personal bedside lights, power points and USB ports are included for every bed.

The staff was awesome! I’m pretty introverted but on the first night, a male staff member saw me standing by myself watching beer pong and immediately introduced himself and then introduced me to a group of girls who I’ve met up with a few times since during my travels. Property was clean and quiet and the hostel had fun events to meet people. Probably my favorite hostel I’ve ever been to!

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location, walking distance to beaches, greyhound bus, cafes, restaurants.... Surfboard rental in the hostel (20aud/6 hours), very clean, very good amenities, great showers with shower gel, shampoo etc.. quite big room (4 bed dorm).. There are so many crappy hostels in Australia... This one is a great exception! Best hostel in Australia so far!

The hostel is pretty new, so there is some space for improvement, but as the manager told us they are working on it to make Vali the best hostel in byron! Everything is really clean and it’s very easy to meet new people there. Overall a really good place to spend your time in the middle of byron. Special thanks to Tassilo for being the best receptionist!

perfect place - great location, spacious unit & balconies, and super clean and friendly onsite managers. easy stroll into town (best not to stay in town - busy, noisy and like a backpackers hostel), and a few minutes walk to beautiful safe beach.
