Ideally set in Darwin, The Cozy Hostel - Motel features air-conditioned rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and a garden. This 3-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. The accommodation provides evening entertainment and a concierge service.

This is not big hostel and it’s like big house. So everyone is very friendly and nice vibes. Owner is also nice. When I asked something, he responded quickly and solved problem. I wish I stay long term. It must be fun.

Really amazing hostel with a great manager Max, who makes you feel very welcome and comfortable! The hostel itself is right next to the city center but just these 3 minutes walking away, so you can enjoy a silent sleep. The pool and whole hostel atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in Hawaii or some exotic place, I had a truly fabulous time there!! :)

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

I wasn’t aware until just before arriving that the keys were kept at a backpackers hostel in another location - I didn’t like this arrangement.

Location is very central, staff is nice and helpful. Like a normal busy backpacker hostel, bedrooms are busy and not the cleanest, bunk beds aren't he most comfortable but okay. Kitchen is quite usable with some free fridge space. Laundry was easily usable. Bathroom was spacious and clean.

Great location and lots to do within the hotel/casino area. Felt safe and the room was very nice, old and tired looking but nice and comfortable.

I wanted budget accommodation, that was not a hostel or anything with shared facilities. Argus was not only the cheapest at this next level, but included basic breakfast each morning, and the room was superb for this budget price. Also all staff I interacted with (both front counter, breakfast bar, and cleaning), were fantastic and could not be more happy to assist me as needed.

Easy walk to the Main Street in Darwin, supermarket 5mins walk away, cheap n cheerful. Very social little hostel. They could spend a small amount of money making the pool area look nicer, but for $22/n, who’s complaining? A bit of coloured paint on the walls, and maybe some stones in the pool area instead of dead grass would change my mind from “good” to “awesome”
