The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially in leaving my bags before check in time and pointing out where everything was. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, and all the facilities were clean

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

My daughter and her friend have been staying since November. It was initially recommended to me, as a a great place to stay if you're new to Banff, as the atmosphere is both welcoming and friendly. Its not the cheapest hostel but the staff are great, the location is excellent and they both feel comfortable and safe.

Awesome location. Easily walkable to restaurants, shops, bus stop. Friendly staff. Great happy hour with cheap food and $4 beer. Nice clean kitchen. Beds have curtains so nice to have some space/privacy. Pub/restaurant downstairs has events like trivia night, but all noises stop by 10pm :)

Ideal location - really good soup in the bar! - Helpful staff. Even with jet lag I mostly got a good night's sleep thanks to the super comfy beds. Just a few minutes walk into town. Felt very safe. I haven't been hosteling alone for a while but this was an excellent experience and reminded me why I often prefer staying in hostels to hotels. I hope to return!

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in, and I've been to a lot of them around the world! Great facilities, comfortable, clean and friendly. Plus there's free pancakes, muffins and fruit for breakfast. It's in a fantastic central location in Banff with everything you need in walking distance. Highly recommended.
