I loved this place, I would have stayed longer if I could. It's a 7 minute walk to the main square (according to Google) and I loved the location as it was close but away from the noisy streets. I slept so well here, really quiet room and big comfortable bed. It's a very friendly family run business.

We loved our stay at Hostal Chimenea. We stayed during the nationwide protests and were unable to leave Baños. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a spacious room with a balcony and a view of the waterfall. We slept great every night with the sound of the waterfall. We also enjoyed the rooftop where we could make meals after breakfast time and sit outside and enjoy the beauty of Baños. We would definitely stay again.

Has all the things a backpacker wished for. Cheap, great kitchen facilities, towel included, good wifi! People are also awesome. Owner of hostel also owns one of the tour companies in town, so the discounts here are crazy. When I got sick they gave me a private room even though I was paying for a dorm.
