With large private gardens, YHA Bath is set in a stunning Italian-style mansion, 10 minutes’ walk from Bath city centre. It offers affordable accommodation, laundry facilities and a restaurant. There are 2 buildings, one of which is listed.

The majority of rooms contain bunk beds.

A lovely big surprise awaits. up the hill. It’s more like a manor and it feels like that inside. Definitely a quality accommodation. The self-serve kitchen is very well equipped.

Bath YMCA Hostel is conveniently set in the centre of Bath, and provides a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. The property is located 600 metres from The Roman Baths, 1 km from Bath Spa Train Station and 2.3 km from Oldfield Park Train Station. The hostel features city views, a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk.

I like the location best, very easy to walk to tour places. And there is a parking lot acrose the street. Although the room is simple, but clean and there is a big dining room and hangout area at the main floor. Very convenient to stay for travelers.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

I recommend this hotel to friends traveling to Bath, it's in a great location and conveniently to the main attractions. The neighborhood seems safe.

Very basic accommodation and service, but that's what makes it so cheap. If you're just after a clean bed in a great location this is for you. There's no reception, just a set of keys waiting for you as you arrive. Location is perfect, just behind the Rec and within 2 mins walk to the river and the city centre. Rooms look like up market student accommodation, but that's a good thing - nothing superfluous, all very clean and tidy and just the basics - no need to pay for anything you don't need. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful building in a super garden area. Dorms had a variety of beds bunk beds and separate beds with toilet and shower. There is a superbly designed self cstering kitchen area with a lounge. The hostel on Bathwick Hill is walkable but there is the U1 bus opposite the bus station which will take you right outsude the hostel £2.00 single fare.

Cheap and cheerful! The rooms are classic hostel style dorms with bunk beds, so you know what you're getting. The beds were clean. The location is great, right in the centre of town.

Great location if you're visiting Bath but if you're staying more than one night, don't go cheap. No fault of the hostel's but the six bed Room # 1was noisy, people on Green Street and other hostellers arriving late. Bath room not awful but cramped. Would try the double next time if not travelling alone.

Great location, there's a lot of restaurant and a waitrose nearby. I had good talks with one of the roommates. There are not many hostels in this area, so it's a "good" option if you're on budget.

Beautiful room, clean and extremely comfortable. Luxurious bathroom, with lovely toiletries to try. Great location, easy and cheap enough parking nearby (~£15/day, free overnight). Nice to have an entrance separate from the pub so easy to come and go. Lovely pub downstairs with good food and tasty breakfasts. Staff were lovely, easy check in and out. Overall, very happy with our stay, would happily stay again!
