In fact, apart from previously staying at a hostel years ago, it's the cheapest room I have ever stayed in. I had a secure room with a key, en suite toilet with a shower. The parking at the hotel was free and the hotel was only a 30 minutes walk to the city centre of Leicester, requiring a walk down a busy artery of the city with lots of shops - not through a dangerous neighbourhood for example.

The room was clean and had all amenities required, including an iron on request which was brought up to my room within 5 minutes. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
