The best hostel I've stayed at in Bali. The owner cooks a free breakfast and a different local treat in the evening every day, the kitchen is large and well equipped, you can help yourself to tea & coffee anytime, the fridge is stacked with cheap beer, the rooms are air conditioned, the lounge is huge and great for meeting people, and it's ideally located halfway between the quiet of the Bukit peninsula beaches and the busy hot-spots in Kuta and Canggu.

The hotel itself is great, nice pool. The rooms are great size, good AC and I personally thought the bed was so comfy and great pillows. My favorite part was the staff! They are so kind and welcoming and so helpful with anything you need. Felt very safe and comfortable asking for help with anything. There is also good water, coffee and tea for free in the lobby. Right next to a mini mart so that was also great. Around a 12-15 minute drive to beach but is near lots of good food options.

11/10 for Kaya! Came back 3 times and Walid - the owner of the place - was always super involved in my stay, offered me a lot of help and tips and introduced me to the people staying in Kaya and his friends. Kaya is in the middle of upgrading so every time something else is being renewed, like accessories in the rooms or the whole kitchen. It's a guesthouse (not a hotel), so don't expect that. You will get good help from receptionist Trisna who makes your bed up on a daily basis. Thankyou for the best feeling I had in Bali in a period of 4 months.
