The common room feels like a prohibition-era speakeasy, and the dining area is equally charming. Oh, and they have their own chicken coop. I was also pleasantly surprised that the bunk beds have a curtain, which is nice when you feel like taking a nap or reading privately before bed. The staff are so helpful and kind. It's close to the city center and the bus station where bus coaches will drop you off. You can walk to Ross Castle in 40 minutes and into the Nationalpark. The rooms are big and you have privacy with curtains. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the two dogs are absolutely adorable. The showers and bathrooms are clean. Best hostel I ever stayed at.
