Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
We stayed in cottage No.2, was so comfie, clean and the views were fabulous. Great location, but our hosts were so kind and welcoming . It felt like a home away from home we loved it!!!
Honestly speaking, the place is very clean and comfortable. Moreover, the hosts were both very friendly and welcoming people. I met a good man and a lovely lady on my arrival, and we had lovely chats and laughs it was great. I highly recommend this place you'll definitely enjoy and feel safe. My husband and I were fasting, and their understanding was brilliant and borrowed us their kitchen to warm food and everything. 100%amazing❤️❤️❤️💯.
The location was perfect and safe for parking the car. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The home was so beautiful and I was very comfortable straight away. I had a fabulous breakfast the next morning and had such a lovely conversation with the host. The bed was also amazingly comfortable, I didn't want to leave!
The property was private and we felt safe. You enter through a private gate and there is ample parking.
The 1st floor apartment was spacious clean and cosy with everything you could want from a self catering point of view.
In the village of Roundwood there is every amenity you could wish for such as a butchers, village store that sells hot food. There is also an artisan tea shop and bakery all within walking distance of the property.
The food was great as was the staff. Great location for the town. Only in wicklow for 3 days would have liked more .
