Boasting a garden, Zu-Zu Hostels is situated in Shimla in the Himachal Pradesh region, 1.1 km from Victory Tunnel and 2.2 km from Circular Road. The property is around 5.4 km from Indian Institute of Advanced Study, 8 km from Jakhoo Gondola and 8 km from Jakhu Temple. Tara Devi Mandir is 10 km away and The Ridge, Shimla is 10 km from the hostel.

The property itself is a hidden gem, a quirky paradise for backpackers. This place had me in splits the moment I stepped in. The real stars of the show are hostel staff. They are epitome of humble and helpful. The cozy balcony and garden area is the best I embraced. Speaking of the food, the Indian cuisine(paneer) has lip smacking flavours. All in all, my stay at hostel is amazing. So if you are looking for a peaceful cozy experience in Shimla, this is a spot for you.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Even extended our stay because we liked Shimla and the BnB so much. The private room was just what we needed and cheaper than a hostel dorm. They served you food if you wanted to your room which was fantastic. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with anything we came to them about. Couldn't recommend more!

Really good hostel and it's the cheapest one. Well maintained and clean. Good place to meet new people and I got friends though. You get curtains in the dorm and lockers for free.

I liked the location of the hostel type guest house. As it's very near to Mal road, about 10 minutes walking distance, but with very steep slope, not comfortable for Senior People, or with heart and lungs problem. But the rent per bed is very cheap compared to other nearby hotels. One can take tea/coffee free and paid breakfast, lunch, dinner. It's safe to stay here.
