A 10-minute walk from Santa Lucia Train Station, Ostello Domus Civica is set in Venice’s San Polo district. This hostel offers a shared terrace and rooms and beds in mixed dormitories, both with shared bathrooms.

Definitely recommended! It is close to the Venice bus/train station (walkable). Silvia and her colleagues were kind and helpful although I was late to arrive for check in. Eateries are right outside the door, so the hassle of looking for food right after you reach is saved. It has a terrace which is open all night - a good place to chill and meet other travellers. Overall really affordable, good location and very kind staff.

Beautiful little apartment with so many lovely touches. Host provided us with all basic necessities and more - tea, coffee, milk, sugar, even yoghurts and brioche rolls for breakfast. We didn’t need to buy any provisions at all. Easy walking distance from train station and great location to explore Venice. We loved staying here - it was small but felt like home. Quiet, safe and gorgeous.

Great location very near St Mark's. The front/breakfast room overlooks a canal. Lovely décor throughout. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful. It was nice to be able to open the bedroom window. Issue with mosquitos but a plug-in device was provided which was marvellous. A safe in the room was an added bonus, as well as a kettle and mini fridge. I really recommend this hotel. On

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was such a comfortable apartment and a great location! It was very spacious and immaculately clean and extremely well equipped! Our host Corinne was very helpful and sent clear and concise instructions and communications, we also liked the convenience of the key safe for our arrival. We would definitely recommend the Acquarello Apartment to anyone that visits Venice, it really is a home from home. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay!

Great location and lovely staff. Nice breakfast (€8 pp extra which is very cheap for Venice). 3 min to Academia Bridge, 24 min walk to the bus to/from the airport, lost of great restaurants near by. Great place to stay for one night.

This property is actually a student accomodation that is used as a hostel in the summer break. Due to this the rooms weren’t exactly appropriate for backpackers. There were no lockers provided to store my valuables including my passport and cash. The bathrooms were relatively clean but every shower had very little water pressure which made it hard to have a good wash after a hot day in Venice. Overall the stay was fine but still nerve racking to not have somewhere to lock my belongings when I was sleeping.

Great location, close to the train station and coach station and people mover. Plenty of restaurants nearby, but it is in a quieter part of the island which we enjoyed as it can get really busy around the major tourist attractions. Was nice to have breakfast included, the portion was generous. We had no issues with the shared bathroom. Good value for money as it is relatively cheap for the area.
