Thé room was very good value for money, with hot shower and drinking water available, mosquito nets and food onsite. The staff were amazingly kind and even offered to help us by doing our laundry for free as we hadn’t had time to do it before. Excellent place to stay in deniyaya

very friendly hosts, huge portions of rice and curry good value for money. Rainforest entrance is in proximity and the hosts organized a guided tour for us which was exceptional. If we booked again we would opt for 2 nights instead of 3.

Would definitely recommend this place. They also organise tours into the forest for every budget as I was a bit short on the asking price and they made it a bit shorter but I was still able to see some great wildlife and had a good time.

If you stay there you have to go to go with a guide from this hotel. We contacted someone else but apparently they can not take the job we had to book via the hotel. It cost 30 USD per person. This is expensive if you know the ticket price of the forrest… Food is ok.

One of the sons provides tours of the rainforest which makes it very easy to organise. 25usd pp for a 6 hour tour, which includes park entrance fees, lunch and visiting 2 waterfalls. Nothing was too much trouble, they helped us to organise a four hour trek in the rainforest, we saw scorpion, terantula, kangaroo lizard and a beautiful waterfall with the opportunity to swim. Very large and comfortable, very airy and with stunning views from the enormous balcony. Amazing! But even better was the warmth of the hospitality-what a really lovely family and we were so well cared for from start to finish. And finally the incredible food-absolutely delicious breakfast and dinner. So sad to leave after only 1 night......
