Maneesha and Shri are the most caring hosts, it is a home away from home. One of the rare hostels around Sri Lanka that suits both for couples and solo travellers. Very peaceful environment, well taken care of, you can cook too which is a big plus if you are on the road for a long time, they also organise cooking classes which brings together the people. They give you bikes so it is easy to get to the market and Hikkaduwa beach is a short bus ride for 34 rupees, skip the tuk tuk. It is the absolute best hostel I have ever been too, feel fortunate that we found this place!
