This hostel was really fabulous & probably had the best views in all of Imsouane. I say "had" because 2 weeks after we left Imsouane on the 19th of January, the entire part of the village by the coast was levelled by diggers with occupiers & business owners only given 24 hours notice. Very sad for the people who lived there & had their livelihoods destroyed by force to make way for corporate tourist resorts & the authorities who cooperated with them. 🙁

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at in my long time traveling. First of all, I want to thank Hamza, Yasine and Yasine, who run the hostel, for the incredible vibes and for making me feel at home at Afer. In terms of the hostel itself, it has everything you could ask for in a surf hostel. It's clean and well equipped, and the beds are comfortable and have curtains, which is always great. There's also a kitchen to cook in. The location is also walking distance to both of Imsouane's amazing surf spots. It says a lot that I originally booked two nights at Afer but ended up extending more and more to eventually stay eight nights. Overall, couldn't rate this place more highly. I hope to be back soon :)

Amy is an awesome person, I travelled there for working remotly and asked before about wifi connection. It was good enough to extend my stay for longer and enjoy living under her roof. Stuff is friendly, food their cooking is amazing and they made my Imsouane stay a lot richer. Totally recommend!
