Shanti is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. It's very relaxed and cozy, yet everything works well. The neighbourhood is very close to bus station which is a huge plus if you are doing lots of quick trips outside the capital. And, in itself, it is historical, worth taking a look at and non-touristy (lots of hostels, but thankfully no souvenir stands!). If you have to do some work during your stay, internet is reliable.

The place is very clean and has all the necessary amenities, each bed has curtains, locker, lamp and power outlet. Moreover, the staff is so friendly and helpful. There was a mistake regarding my booking (thanks to booking.com), but the staff went out of their way to solve the issue and to make sure I have a pleasant stay.
