There is a gorgeous strip of the beach but the management practies good due diligence to keep customers safe. The same time I was there, there was a drowning at the Desaru Westin Beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful, found my laptop, kept in safe until I picked it up. Great hotel with great location to stay a bit distance from crowded resorts by the beach. Reachable by car to various restaurants and beaches around. Great stay with extra pillows and good wifi! Pleasant with my vacation this time with 3 kids.
