THIS HO(S)TEL

Popular points of interest near THIS HO(S)TEL include Beurs van Berlage, Rembrandt House and Basilica of St. Nicholas. The nearest airport is Schiphol Airport, 18 km from the hostel. this was our first stay in a hostel. frankly speaking, this is like a hotel. Everything but everything is very clean and extremely well organized. From check in, bathrooms, rooms, storage space.. If we talk about location, I can't imagine a better location to stay in Amsterdam. It is only 2 minutes from the train station, and at the same time it is located in the center of all events. a number of great restaurants are located on the same street. We all know how expensive is good accommodation in Amsterdam and how bad some of the cheaper options are when it comes to hygiene. this turned out to be a GREAT choice, I will be happy to go back and recommend it to everyone. Not to forget, the bedding was very comfortable, you even have towels in the bathrooms, which I found out in conversation with the other guests is not usual for hostels. great recommendation for this accommodation

Hostels. What are they?

Way more than just a cheap place to sleep, hostels are a social way to travel and meet like-minded people. Common areas like shared kitchens or games rooms are great ways to swap tips, tricks and travel stories with backpackers from all over the world.

Hostels have come a long, long way since the first youth hostel opened in 1912. From budget 'crash-pads' to five-star 'poshtels', today, hostels are for everybody, so whether you'd prefer a bed in a shared dorm or your own private room, you'll find most hostels are cheaper than a local hotel and far more fun.
