It is just a 1-minute walk from Cuba Street where you will find a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars. Free high speed unlimited WiFi is offered throughout the property.

The staff were super nice, friendly from morning til after dark and always there for helpful hints and advice. Great facilities, bathroom/showers were great, lounges on each floor and a rooftop terrace with some yoga mats to stretch out before a day of touristing. Beds were a dream (pun intended), super comfy, curtains for privacy, and plenty of space for storage underneath. Could not recommend more highly I can't wait to come back

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

This was the best hostel I stayed in throughout my month of travel in New Zealand, and definitely in the top 10 hostels I've stayed worldwide. If you are looking for a hostel that you want to spend a few extra nights to chill without breaking the bank then this place is perfect. Really well equipped kitchen and the showers are amazing. I love the privacy of the curtains and charging sockets in the room but still had a friendly vibe and hung out with bunk mates in the lounge areas in the evening.

Great location, very friendly staff and pretty good facilities. There seemed to be cool activities on and ways to meet new people which was great and I would’ve taken part in if I wasn’t catching up with friends who live in Wellington.

We loved the Marion. Hands down the best hostel we’ve stayed in in NZ! we had a private room and found this to be hotel standard with lovely shower/toilet facilities which felt a much higher standard than the usual hostel. Location 10/10 and staff really friendly and helpful! Price extremely reasonable for the quality!
