This hostel has wooden floors and furnishings in its offer of mixed and female-specific dormitories, as well as private double rooms. All have access to shared bathroom facilities, with some units having a bathroom inside the room. The rooms all include air conditioning. This place is as good as you will get in a hostel. The staff are friendly, fun, energetic people, who genuinely like to help with whatever you need. The kitchen you see in the photos - yes, that is real :) It's a small industrial kitchen and you can use everything there. I guess it could get busy on high season and if you want to make your own dinner at the same time they are serving hostel dinner (EUR10 with drinks), bear in mind you will be sharing space in the kitchen with a professional chef. But you can still use everything that's not being used. I was able to eat really well here :) There is a big communal space you can work in or hang out in in the daytime. After dinner, it becomes a bit of a party place - there are pub crawls, bar games, etc. organised and it's pretty easy to make friends if you're staying there on your own. The beds are comfortable and have power, USB chargers, lights, shelves, curtains, etc. Rooms have solid insulating doors and curtains against the light and noise from the outdoors. They have the weird heater/ AC things too, but thankfully the room was warm enough in January I didn't need to use it.

Rossio is 400 metres from the property, while the São Jorge Castle is 800 metres away and the lively Bairro Alto area is 1.2 km away. The nearest airport is Lisbon Portela Airport, 7 km from Home Lisbon Hostel, and can be easily accessed by metro.

Bright colours and parquet floors provide an airy feel to the rooms. Shared rooms offer bunk beds, while private rooms come with 2 single beds and a wardrobe for storing clothes. This was probably the first hostel I have visited where the staff gave a full tour of the hostel and we're genuinely very nice. The overall vibe of the hostel was extremely pleasant and the staff were so helpful and welcoming.

The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. Amazing location, shared spaces, kitchen, and very friendly and helpful staff.

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage for guests. People were nice. Cleanliness and facilities were great too. For cleaning, a sign board outside the room ( clean the room, don't clean the room ) should be available. Place was not too far from the central area and not too close either, so it was peaceful and walkable distance from Bairro Alto. Breakfast could include more items like fruits and more bread and spread options. Croissants were lovely. The chefs were humble and we enjoyed the hospitality. Thank you.
