I even extended my stay due to the fact that I liked it so much. The area has a lot to offer. If you are going to the caves don't forget to ask for the discount voucher!

We booked one family room but there were two seperated bedrooms which share one entrance, so it was safe and comfort at the same time to stay with children. We arrived late and could eat in the restaurant of the hotel for the cheap price. It was good because it's a small village and there're no other restaurants, no shops in the near.

The room facilities were simple but sufficient. We paid extra for the breakfast from local products. The hostel has a garden where you can relax. There is a communal kitchen with utensils as well. Room is very small and there were only bunk beds, but this is a hostel. There was great working air condition and wifi in the room. The breakfast and dinner were absolutely fantastic and worth their price. One of the best small hostels I've ever been to.

Make sure you walk up for 10min to explore Skocjan and Betanj. Tiny villages but pretty and both have amazing viewpoints.
