You won’t have flush in the toilets and electricity in the room (only available at the restaurant), Wi-Fi is unstable, but who cares - this is a place to chill for some day and disconnect. They prepare good food for a reasonable price (10-30k ugx) and help to arrange boat tours and other activities (a bit expensive).

Great restaurant which affordable prices (even for backpackers). Amazing place for relaxing without internet connection. Nice place to swim and sunbathe. Basic but good rooms. People complain about the hot shower costing extra but you got a loooooot of super hot water for 1usd so it was literally the best shower ever and so worth it. I booked 1 night before heading up North but ended up cancelling the remaining week of my trip, staying here another 7 nights instead, and not wanting to leave! All of the staff were absolutely amazing, the food was exceptional, the accommodation was very comfortable and the location and scenery is outstanding. There is lots to explore around the area or simply relax by the lake all day, with some of the best staff I have ever met. I would definitely recommend OM Hostel.
