Mahmud is a great host. He was friendly, honest, and prepared a different and generous breakfast for us every morning. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with new bathrooms. This is a newly renovated hotel in an amazing location. However, as of April 30th, 2024, there are still some things they are working on to finish, such as the terrace. Once these are complete, it will be amazing!

It is, like everything in the old city, tricky to find, but they have signs up on nearby streets to help you find it. The staff are welcoming, the Wi-Fi is strong, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is so sumptuous that you can have your leftovers for lunch if you supplement them with fruit. The hostel is close both to the old town and to a couple of big streets (i.e., it has easy access to cheap taxis), and the beds are the most comfortable in which I slept in Uzbekistan.

VERY clean, VERY cheap and VERY good location.. Sanjar and his family were very nice and helpful.. When you see them cleaning the hostel and rooms.. you think they are preparing a surgery room!! 😅 believe me, you will notice that as soon as you enter the place.. I will definitely recommend the place.. and yeah,, don't forget to ask Sanjar about the place of the Palov and the cake shop.. he knows the best the best..👍🏼
