The hostel has a great location and heaters in winter. Kitchen is very clean as are bathrooms. Wifi is really Good and the hostel has a lot of places to relax and chill out. I waited 6 hours for the bus here and it flew by. Lights handed out for load shedding and wifi still works. I upgraded to a private room because I was sick and needed some rest so the fridge in room was a massive bonus and the bed is very comfortable and not saggy. Close to shops and shoreline walk. Check out market on Saturday!

A beautiful warm and very welcoming place to stay! Thank you for that awesome days in your little guesthouse, Marylin and Jan. I had the only one double room with its own bathroom and that was very nice and quiet. The Breakfast is perfect !

Now it is that well known, I can never get in there!! And I think its going to be the same with Hermanus Backpackers. So being selfish, I wouldn't recommend this hostel.. GO AND FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE, SO THAT I CAN STAY HERE AGAIN LOL.

Little kitchenette in the room with kettle, glasses, plates etc. Great location as it is super central. Very close to the ocean and cliff trail.
