At the hostel rooms include bed linen and towels. Very clean rooms and toilets, location was really near the public beach and main promenade. Friendly staff. I felt like similar to a hotel. Breakfast included was simple but can’t complain. Very good hostel I’ve ever stayed.

Situated in Himare and with Potam Beach reachable within 300 metres, Hostel on the Hill - by Filikuri Beach features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. Gjiri i Filikurit Beach is 400 metres from the hostel and Prinos Beach is 1 km away. This place was the highlight of my trip! The owner is the sweetest lady. She doesn’t have much herself and doesn’t speak a lot of English but went to of her way to make me feel welcome. She kept making coffee and food for us (lots of homemade food from her animals and her garden) and got us water so we wouldn’t have to buy any. The morning I left, she even drove me to the bus stop. (Please do leave her a good tip if she does the same for you as she won’t ask for anything in return) I loved the location as it is outside of the city center with a beautiful view (and sunset!) but it’s still only a short walk down to the beach and some supermarkets. Super chill and calm atmosphere and easy to meet and hang out with the other guests. The beds are comfortable and not squeaky and the WiFi was very good. Also appreciated the lockers and the small kitchen. Disclaimer: when I was there, we were max 3 guests at the same time, so the experience might be different during high season.

Amazing view of the sea from your balcony, secure parking and really friendly and ready to help stuff. Outdoor grill with amazing facilities to be used after a long day at the beach. 10 out of 10 recommended.
