Our second stay here. It's one of the cleanest hostels I have stayed in. You can see that they work hard to maintain it. The location is great and a short walk to the town and a supermarket just down from the hostel. The owner Andy is really friendly and makes you feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend if going to El Calafate. The only thing to note is that it says that breakfast is included but this consists of biscuits and small dried tostadas and jams.

We had a basic private room with private bathroom. The shower is hot and the room is confortably warm. The Wifi was strong in the reception area. I had some important work video meetings so the family allowed me to use a faster, reliable internet connection in my room because it was further from the reception area. They also graciously allowed us to use the kitchen working around their schedule. This hostel is good value for the price. It’s simple but the hosts are incredibly kind. They helped with taxis, recharging our Claro sim card and providing info.
