Great hicking trails near by with very little trafic. For those who prefer the calm away est from crowds, that's the perfect location at great prices. Calm and serenity up the mountain!

Youth Hostel Brienz is located on the banks of Lake Brienz, a scenic 15-minute walk from the Brienz Train Station. The hostel serves a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, available on the terrace overlooking the lake. Free Wi-Fi is provided. it was clean, breakfast is good, staffs are friendly, location right by the lake is beautiful, they even gave us female only room when we requested even though we booked the mixed dorm. thanks
