We were running late but the two sisters who own the house waited up for us and made us feel right at home. If you like falling asleep listening to the ocean, under a huge dream catcher this is the place for you! Breakfast is fresh, and the coffee delicious. The artisan shop is right there with lots of creative designs by the sisters. I even met their mother. Such a beautiful family stay.

I was lucky that I was the only person occupying the 4-beds space most of the time, so I cannot comment on what other people said about the rooms being 'cramped'. The staff is amazing, everybody is very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms/showers were pretty small but okay overall. The AC in the rooms worked very well, the WiFi was great. The whole building including the rooftop area is very clean, nice and cozy. I definitely recommend staying here. It is pricey, but you can't get this quality at this location for less.

The hostel is located within the walled enclosure of the city, 300 meters from Bolivar Park, 120 meters from the Castillo de San Felipe. from Rafael Núñez airport 1.5 km Had an exceptional stay in Casa de las Americas during my week in Cartagena. The location was perfect for walking around to restaurants and sights while being quiet, the room was very clean and comfortable for one person and I was offered a nice small breakfast every morning. The highlight of my stay however was meeting David and Maty who made me feel at home with their chats and recommendations on places to see. Hands down the best hostel experience!

Kite house is great value for money. Cheap and it is a decent enough bed for a night or two in the dorm. Kitchen facilities and a supermarket across the street are big plus. The staff were fantastic. So friendly and helpful. Laundry service was great.
