The property is non-smoking and is situated 23 km from Santorini Port. Since I promised Stavros that I would leave a review in Chinese, which I did, it was in another review already. And I’d like to write something in English in this one as well to make more solo travelers like me to understand enough why I like this place. First the location is right near the sunset viewpoint, literally 2 minutes walk. And secondly even it’s winter and low season, hot water and WiFi you don’t need to worry about that much, why I say so, since even some cave villa charge inane price for lacking of these basic things. The last part I must recommend is the people who run this place is so wholesome, that you can literally ask him (I mean Stavros)about anything you need, on where to go, where to eat, what things to check, and any tips you can imagine or need ofc. I guess in Summer it would also be a nice place to meet up people from the world, and explore the beauty of this island together! So I’m that case I’m envy you guys lol. Long story short, this place is somewhere you don’t need to hesitate on going for a stay:)

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a tour desk and luggage storage for guests. Good value for money on Santorini island (that is in general quite expensive). The staff at the reception was nice and helpful, you are provided with clean sheets for your bed and the overall cleanliness of the place is good as well. You can store your luggage in the luggage room if needed before or after check-in. Bunk beds and matress were ok as well:)

At the hostel, every room comes with a patio. The rooms have a kettle and a private bathroom with a shower, while selected rooms also boast a kitchen. At Caveland each room is fitted with bed linen and towels. Such an awesome and unique place to stay. We booked a private “cave” for two and it was so comfortable, and surprisingly big! The hostel grounds are reason enough to stay with a lot of outdoor seating and a nice pool, but the staff were definitely the best part of everything. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and they even helped us book a last minute tour so we could see the whole island before we left. The rooms were also nice and cool on their own, no need for turning on the A/C! Highly recommend this unique experience.
