The views, the food, the coffee, vibe and staff are amazing. They have boards for rent or sale, kitchen is well equipped, path down the cliff to the beach, and comfortable beds. We loved that William really took the time to talk to and get to know us on our stay. So good that we didn’t want to leave!

All units at the hostel are equipped with a seating area. At Rancho Tranquillo every room has a private bathroom and bed linen. The owners Daniela & Tony went above and beyond for their guests to make sure we were all comfortable and had everything for our stay. Beds in the dorm were comfortable, bathroom was clean, everyone had a fan, drinking water provided, hammocks, a delicious affordable breakfast was also an option which I highly recommend! The location was close to the ferry port, it was very easy to explore other parts of the island by renting a scooter.

Boasting a garden, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Hostel Clandestino Maderas is set in Playa Maderas, 600 metres from Maderas Beach and 1.3 km from Marsella Beach. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space for guests. I had an amazing stay at Hostel Clandestino. I booked a room in the VW bus, which unfortunately had been booked already so Corrina upgraded me to the private cabin. Very nicely done, just completed. Beautiful and peaceful spot with everything you need and more.

La Urraca Loca Hostel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Balgue. Featuring barbecue facilities, the property is located within 12 km of Maderas Volcano. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. Can only recommend that place, so beautiful, green and you can see the work and love they put in to build that place as it is. Very clean Free filtered water Really good breakfast for an additional cost

André(sorry no clue how to write your name) location is really good. Only 8 guests maximum at a time easy to connect with people. Family vibe. Thank you for the good vibes

Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a cozy hostel with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. Perfect location in relation to the Spanish school to improve your Spanish, not to mention you have several top surf spots within walking distance! There is a large living room with a bar where you can get drinks. Everyone usually sits here chatting, drinking, watching a movie, playing ping pong or a game of pool. Almost every evening there is something to do in or around the hostel such as Burger night, Taco night and Trivia night. There is a communal kitchen with all amenities and various places where you can relax, such as several hammocks or sofas. The Garden will soon be renovated with, among other things, a volleyball field. There is already a slackline and campfire spot available! And don't forget to cuddle or play with the cutest dog (Lobo) and sweetest cat (Venus)!

I had an incredible time there; the staff was fantastic, and the daytime ambiance was wonderfully relaxed. The food is not only delicious but also incredibly budget-friendly. Plus, on Thursdays and Sundays, they throw some fantastic parties – the perfect blend of fun and work-friendly atmosphere.

This is a comfortable, very affordable place, and is walking distance from downtown market. Julieta is as kind and helpful as you could ask for. Amazing staff who will go out of their way to help. Rooms are basic but wouldn’t expect much more for the price.
