Such a beautiful hostel with a lovely team running it. I got ill the day I arrived and everyone was so lovely and made me miña tea. The breakfast was so beautifully presented, sets a new standard for hostels! I also had the best sleep in the pod with the blackout roller blind and comfy duvet and pillows. The pod has a nice shelf and power etc. They cleaned the bathrooms multiple times a day and there was always hot water.

At the hostel, all rooms are fitted with a desk. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at KOSKO Casa Hotel also have free WiFi, while certain rooms also offer a balcony. At the accommodation all rooms include bed linen and towels. Rómulo and Gelga have really created a beautiful and heartwarming space. The house is very modern and has all the facilities you may need (free wifi, hot water, own private bathroom, toiletries, hot water bottles on cold days, free delicious breakfast, etc) but on top of it all it has a special kind of charm. Templo de la Luna is basically in your backyard and the whole area where the house is located has such a magical energy. It’s a little far from the center, which makes it super quiet and peaceful but you can get to San Blas or Plaza de Armas within 20 minutes walk following the beautiful path of the inca trail. If you don’t feel like walking back up (it’s a good hike!) you can easily get an uber for 10-15 soles. From the minute you step foot in the house you feel extremely welcome. You can feel the love and attention they’ve put into every detail and it truly feels like staying with family. Rómulo is incredibly knowledgeable about the quechua and inca culture and took me for an amazing walk to templo de la luna and zona X. He does tours too, I would totally recommend! Gelga is always so kind, she cooked me rice soup and some home remedies when I wasn’t feeling well and helped me with my laundry. They’re always happy to help with anything you may need (advice, booking taxis, tours, etc) and with a big smile on their face. If you get the chance to share a lunch with them, I encourage you to! The food is so delicious and it truly feels like sharing a meal with your family. You will honestly not find a better place to stay in Cusco, especially for that price! If you’re looking for a place where you can feel safe, cozy and at home, I couldn’t recommend it more. Whenever I’m back in Cusco I’ll be staying again, no doubt! Muchas gracias Rómulo, Gelga y Angie por la mejor estancia, por cuidarme, hacerme sentir como en casa y acogerme como si fuera parte de su familia. Voy a echarles de menos. ¡Hasta la próxima!

By far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Incredible view, very cool vibe, amazing pool and chill out area, lovely home cooked food, very welcoming and the perfect place to relax and enjoy Pisac. I was meant to stay for 2 nights and expended my stay to over a week, I would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
Really nice hostel with hot shower, laid back vibe and breakfast (bit simple but fine). The hostel is walking distance to main tourist sites and restaurants and feels very safe. Also a very cute ginger cat!
Relaxing hostel with a great view. The lobby and common areas are very cute and relaxing. It is a comfortable, safe and power place with cute kittens and dogs. There is also a swimming pool. They have a pizza oven here and the pizza is very good! You must try it. And don't forget to order the pisco sour. Very tasty!
Great location, cosy beds, firsr nice hot shower I have had in a while! Was being cleaned daily. I must give Martina a special mention, she went above and beyond to help me find a physio in the area. She made multiple calls for me. Found one with a good price that her own gym friends go to. And even helped translate the problem over the phone. She was extremely helpful and kept checking in if they had gotten back to me. A really excellent hostel, highly recommend.
My favourite hostel I’ve stayed in on my trip. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, comfortable beds. Good value and great location near to the main square. There is also a nice restaurant and a great view of the city. The free breakfast is the best I’ve had. Will stay again.
Great location, comfortable. It’s a hostel but everyone has their own private room. I also lost my phone, so had to use there computer to track my phone (which I didn’t get back). Spoke to other travellers and their hostels were bigger and they had mixed dorms, so spent less and they were given pack lunches if they were out for the day, which I thought was nice
how friendly and safe, great location staff are just wonderful. cute breakfast in bed even made us a packed lunch before our hike :)
Nice personal, best view in the city, fun travelers and great party time in the hostel pub! Cheap and clean. Strongly recommend!
Wolf Totem is more than a hostel, it is a imaginative space with creating an experience for the traveler in mind. It’s definitely not an off the shelf backpacker hostel. Its perched high on a mountain side to take advantage of the views but close enough to walk in to town. The spaces are cozy and the food is delicious and well priced. Not to mention there is a good selection of Argentinian wines if you choose to imbibe. I would not hesitate to recommend.
This hostel came recommend on the backpacker party circuit and I understand why - plenty of space, all new and clean facilities, good bar and party vibes. For me personally it was too loud but I think you know what you’re getting into with Kokopelli. Definitely cheaper options out there in Cusco but Kokopelli is worth the money if you want security/no hassle.
