It was so calm and quiet, perfect space to wind down and especially during low season you get the ultimate perk of having basically no people at the beaches ;) Sofia the host was super friendly and helpful... couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Nice kitchen and facilities! Just keep in mind that you have to do groceries etc in the centre, as there's only a small restaurant around (which is cheap and good though). And it's a different island than Madeira itself, not everyone may know this ;)

The owners are two brothers originally from Brazil and super nice! They're fluent in English, Portuguese, and probably other languages too. The hostel is as clean as it gets. They have all the nice simple touches like free good quality coffee, towels included, nice sheets, comfortable beds, private curtains for a privacy in single rooms, and many dehumidifies which is a must being literally on the beach. The hostel is cleaned well and often. The best part for me is it attracts quality guest's who are polite and not very noisy at night. The parking is plentiful and safe. The views for sunset are stunning. The beach vibe decorations are a nice touch. Would definitely stay again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND having a car if you stay here! It is quite remote compared to other cities on the island.

The hostel also features free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. This place was the best we stayed in Madeira. Close to the center, but still quiet. Very comfortable and with nice design. The host was super friendly, he recommended us a very interesting trail run and a couple restaurants to eat. The shared kitchen has everything you need, clean. There is a place you can leave staff so others can pick it up and it won't be wasted. We loved that idea! Room was very comfortable and had enough space. You can also buy some local handmade products, we got a soap with a really beautiful orange scent 😍

The mixed dormitories are carefully decorated according to traditional local crafts and furnished with bunk beds. They offer access to shared bathroom facilities. Guests that wish to have more privacy may stay in double or twin rooms. Lovely place to stay, great staff,helpfull, clean, good location.

Steps away from restaurants and the market, as well as cable car. Clear check in instructions were given if arriving late. Had a kitchen, several bathrooms, seating area etc. bed room had lockers and locks provided. Wi-Fi worked well. The staff were friendly. The hostel itself seemed to be a historic building and had cool design.

His place is located in quite area with good restaurants around.

This is a lovely place in the city center.
