If we - four pensioners - had any prejudices against hostels, staying in Uppsala dispelled them.

Beautiful area with easy access from the train station (just 10 minutes walk). Beautiful old fashioned house. Great value for money. Before I went I read a few reviews that claimed the place seemed run-down. This is a ridiculous statement, it's a old heritage building so obviously not brand new inside or out, but nicely painted, comfortable beds and good facilities. Cannot wait to come back again!

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff at the breakfast were extremely helpful. They went out of their way to provide me with enough vegan options. So, thank you everyone 😊
