One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at! Super quiet but I found it easy to talk to people. Huge, comfortable beds in the dorms, a great rooftop to watch the sunset from, and a small kitchen for cooking. The hostel was able to organise everything I needed from laundry to scooter rental. Don't let the stories of an "uphill walk" scare you away - Juayua is so small that you're still only about five minutes from the town centre.

Super friendly and attentive staff, great location and beautiful garden with fluffy cats. Even has pool and ping pong for the evening and super delicious coffee in the morning.

The hotel is in a very small local town, right next to the police station and opposite the affiliated restaurant (very good - the breakfast was fabulous!!!!). You can choose to have the breakfast either at the restaurant (overlooking the beach) or small tables at the hotel. The room was very spacious and the pool was lovely! It felt very safe.

I'm so sad to write this review - the apartment itself is beautifully furnished and so comfortable. The bathroom is slightly out of the main apartment but felt safe still as it's within the courtyard. Having some Spanish might help as we had to get the key from a neighbour (but we did book last minute). We even considered staying longer until....

Great location, very helpful host, very clean

Very comfortable double beds in dorms, terrace with beautiful view, perfect location, clean bathrooms and a very nice owner. Saul is always around and ready to help whenever needed. I highly recommend Samay Hostel for a stay whenever you are in Juayua.

Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve been to. Relaxed vibes. You can feel the love that flows into this project. Also perfectly located to explore this region. Can highly recommend.

- Nice typical breakfast with coffee and juice - Great wifi - Decent shower - Clean - Comfortable - The tour through the hostel with Karlos to the 7 waterfalls is a great option - Great location - Friendly and helpful staff - Stay at the weekend, if possible, as the weekly food festival in the town is amazing.
