Trade Winds Hotel, hotel in Dickenson Bay

This hotel is a quiet, intimate property with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. Nestled in the hills of Dickenson Bay, Guests have front row seats to the most breath-taking sunset on the island.

Fab views and very friendly staff. We checked in early and out late and they were so accommodating. Rooms were nicer than what they look like in the pictures. Beds super comfy. Food in the restaurant was some of the best we had around the island - really delicious! All round great stay - only had 1 night on route from Barbuda to the airport but could easily have stayed longer.

Buccaneer Beach Club, hotel in Dickenson Bay

Surrounded by tropical gardens, this small beachfront property is located on Dickenson Bay, just a 5-minute drive from the shopping in downtown St John’s.

The staff at Buccaneer Beach Club were brilliant: friendly, professional, informative. The location of the property is ludicrously good: just a few metres from a fantastic beach, with reserved loungers and near a couple of nice restaurants.

Ocean Point Resort & Spa Adults Only, hotel in Dickenson Bay

This sea front property features a spa and wellness centre with massage service. The adults-only resort has an outdoor swimming pool and offers free WiFi and free parking.

This was my seventh visit to Ocean Point.......but the first after Covid. The property was well maintained and the hotel architecture resembles an Italian Villa. The variety of palm trees and the gardens were spectacular as before! The Staff is well educated with customer care and is very courteous and friendly. The biggest change was the kitchen......before there was a large buffet for every meal. However, after Covid, buffet style meals have been "outlawed" but their served meals are still exceptional with ultra fresh ingredients!!! We had the all inclusive package which I would highly recommend!

It was an exceptional experience. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Not only were the staff friendly, but they were also highly knowledgeable about the local area. They provided excellent recommendations for sightseeing, dining, and entertainment, ensuring that I made the most of my time in Antigua. I am already looking forward to coming back as soon as possible.

very quiet area dominated by the large Sandals hotel next door, not too many places to eat at and the restaurant Salt Plage is expensive but unfortunately not very good !! Get a car and find other places in the nearby St johns (capital)

Dickenson Bay is a beautiful beach - white sand and turquoise water. Much quieter that I expected although we were there during low season- late April to early May. I thought there’d be more beach bars/restaurants but there was only one although one was being renovated. A lot of the front is taken up by a Sandals all inclusive resort.

Apartment was spacious, clean and air conditioned. More than enough room for a family of 4. Decent kitchen facilities and the main bedroom was spacious with a huge bed. Bathroom was massive and shower was powerful and easy to clean 2 kids at once. The staff were the most friendly people I've met at a holiday hotel. They can't do enough for you from getting ice to even doing your shopping if required. Nothing is too much for them. Also we had a garden view room number 1 and we could easily view the pool from our balcony.

I arrived in a taxi, in the afternoon after a 8 hour flight from the UK. I was in Antigua in transit for 24 hours and in need of relaxation, and this place did not disappoint. The host Yvonne met me on arrival and showed me the room, described the area and suggested where I could go for dinner/drinks. Despite it being a quick visit, the 1 night I spent here was comfortable and had everything I needed, I even managed a 40 minute walk to Dickenson Bay at 07:00 the following morning - A perfect choice for my short stay!

The host was so welcoming and helpful, and the property exceeded our expectations. It was well located near the airport but also allowed us to experience a little bit of Antigua, particularly in the Dickinson Bay area. There were great restaurant options nearby as well as grocery in order to spend some time on the property and use the amenities offered to take in the exceptional evening views from the terrace. Highly recommended!

Place is in an almost ideal location; beachfront is quiet, shade/umbrellas are easily available, sand is incredibly soft and plenty of restaurants to choose from including Casa Roots (outstanding - 10 minute walk) and Nomad (cab ride, but well worth it). Buccaneer Beach Club is tropical with hummingbird-friendly flowers and relatively quiet - just far enough away from Sandals.

The condo was clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything one might need. The sunsets were beautiful. The grounds were beautifully maintained by Atta and the swimming pool was wonderful to have nearby for a quick dip or day of relaxation. The condo was located close to two great supermarkets and had easy access to St John's as well.

Buccaneer Beach Hotel was right on the small beach area of Dickinson Bay. Next to lively bars and restaurants, servicing great food and cocktails. Perfect for what we were looking for, would def return. Room was bright, large and clean, also comfy beds . Had we been staying longer, the kitchen area would have been great to

Marvelous place. Set on a hillside, we had a beautiful panoramatic view from the terace and the pool. The sunsets are exceptional, with clear skies we could see St. Kitts and Montserrat on the horizon. We could also walk easily to Dickenson Bay beach, which itself is beautiful. Nice places to go out for lunch or dinner.

The apartments are located on a hill which provide great views of Dickenson Bay. There is a communal pool and seating area which is an added bonus. The beach is walkable and would take 10-15 mins going but 20-30 returning due to the afore mentioned hills. A car is recommended as the nearest shops are a 5-10 min drive.
