Very comfortable well equipped studio at a good location near my favorite beach on the Island, Shoal Bay East. The bed was comfortable, kitchen well equipped and had a cooler and snorkel gear. The host is very kind and helpful.

Welcome to The Hidden Cottage, a secret escape nestled on the peak of Jonah Hill, Welches, Anguilla.
Our little getaway is a true reflection of our culture and laid back life style, an atmosphere filled with "chill" and relaxation. We are situated in a slowly developing neighborhood.
If you enjoy tranquil living, come stay with us at The Hidden Cottage as you experience Anguilla - "Tranquility Wrapped in Blue".

The Hidden Cottage is a newly built, fully furnished, studio style guesthouse with all the basic items our guests would need to be comfortable.
- Sleeping Arrangement: one comfortable queen size bed with fresh and cozy linens.
- Bathroom: one private bathroom suited with a modern shower and beautiful stone flooring.
- Kitchen: includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, pots and tableware all for your convenience.
- Laundry Room: includes a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board along with a rack for hanging a few articles of clothing.
- Small Porch: includes 2 chairs great area for enjoying the cool evening breeze.
- Mini Herb Garden: basil, lemongrass etc.
Daniel and I are excited to join this community. We are both from Anguilla and we are more than happy to be your host. We also love to travel and want to make your experience memorable.
Daniel is a Civil Servant on the Island, while I manage Gem Exclusiv, our family owned retail clothing store.
We have many family and friends in the US and when they are not enjoying our Cottage we would love to share it with you.
Demi & Daniel’s home is located in Anguilla.
Welches is usually a quiet neighborhood with a rural feel. The area is slowly developing and there is potential for noise due to a construction project starting a short distance away from The Cottage.
You can expect to see goats and sheep roaming the area freely and on occasion you may glimpse land turtles or even an iguana dash by.
There are natural shrubs and bushes on and surrounding the property which gives the area a true hidden feel.
Within 3-5 minutes drive you can find:
- Neighborhood grocery store
- French bakery
- Local Beach Bars
- World Famous Shoal Bay Beach
- Sandy Hill Beach (a bit more secluded)
Within 10-15 minutes drive you can find:
- Local Bars and food vendors on "The Strip" located in The Valley (the capital of Anguilla)
- Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport
- Blowing Point Ferry Terminal
- Crocus Bay (restaurants and kayaking)
- Sandy Ground Beach (beach bars, live music, nightlife)
- Western End of Anguilla (restaurants, fine dining, 5 Star Resorts, beaches)
It is usually easiest to get around Anguilla by vehicle, especially if you would like to explore the entire island.
